The maps within this site highlight existing bicycle and pedestrian paths and trails in Onondaga County. Included are urban walking tours, trails within parks, multi-use trails, bike routes, bike lanes, and bike suitability maps (for commuter bicyclists).
The maps were created as interactive PDFs, with clickable layers. When first opening any of the maps below, you will see a message letting you know that you’re viewing an interactive map. You will be able to click the various layers off and on to customize how you would like to view the recreational opportunities in Onondaga County.

When hovering over an icon, the name of the park, trail, or bike route appears and shows displays in bold-face type on the bottom of the map. When clicking on an icon, a bubble pops up that offers a brief description of the park, trail, or bike route, along with a link to a related website and/or map. - Bike Suitability in Syracuse and Onondaga County
For bike suitability definitions, click on the ‘+’ sign next to Bike Suitability in the legend. For an explanation of the intended use of the map, click on the ‘Please Read’ button in the right hand corner.
